In 2022, I was headhunted by DEPT to join their creative team with a clear mission - grow the agency's social media offering, winning new retained clients and placing them in culture through a mix of social-first campaigns, always on and building social communities - known as editorial social.
From pitch through to delivery - I lead the creative and strategy for the agency's culture-first retained social accounts with multiple pitch wins including Visa, Prime Video, Trainline, MoneyGram and more. Growing to a now team of 20 creatives from the ground up, my focus is on creative excellence and strategic innovation across always on, reactive, creator and campaigns.
In the last few months alone, my team have been everywhere from Ibiza to Silverstone to Zurich capturing social-first content for the world’s biggest brands including easyJet, eBay and Visa covering everything from Eurovision to the WEUROS and Formula One and creating culture- first content to engage communities as well as a packed calendar of activity here on the ground in London.
My role in UKI has been so successful, that since the beginning of the year, my eye has been on building a centre of excellence for social in UKI and bringing this expertise across EMEA with multiple pitch wins and roll outs of social retainers for clients across the DEPT network - including Wero, Vegetarian Butcher and Hyundai.
